Oh goodness, where do I begin! The McCurdy wedding was one I will NEVER forget. It’s not everyday I get to shoot a wedding this fun! Every detail of this wedding was thought out to a T! John’s guitar cuff links, Kynda’s intricate antique ring box, and the pizza! Yeah, I said PIZZA! And nachos, Oh they had the best wedding food! The day started off very elegant and classy! We took bridal shots at the hotel in Briarcliff while the ladies got their makeup and hair done! Just take a look at those first look photos! Kynda was such a GORGEOUS bride! After group photos at the hotel, it was I DO time! We headed over to a cute little place called Finnigans in Downtown KC. It’s a bowling alley/banquet hall. Perfect for what Kynda and John had in mind! The ceremony was a PARTY! Everyone danced down the isle! There was no standard vows, or anything standard by any means. They just wanted something fun and quick! They were ready to dance their socks off! And that they did! Enjoy their gallery and leave some ❤ for them! A carriage ride around the plaza. That’s how Johnny romantically proposed! I had so much fun with this couple at their consultation meeting! I got to hear all about how they had met and how she got that sparkly pretty ring! Oh, Johnny did SO good on that ring ! I cannot wait for their BIG day in October! Congrats you two! May you kiss everyday as much as you did on picture day 🙂

The Gallina family sure was fun! We met out at my favorite park, Shawnee Mission! Cindy, Nick’s mom was such a sweetheart and was pretty excited to get some updated photos! It had been years since their family had taken photos together! Jessica is a friend of mine from a local mom’s group! I had photographed Luca before for a FUN Mickey Mouse cake smash! Jessica and Nick are currently expecting their 2nd child and they couldn’t be more blessed to have such great family to welcome their little one ! Thursday was a beautiful day! We are finally getting something green around these parts of the city (Shawnee)! We headed over to Shawnee Park and took some gorgeous sun filled photos! Jaci and Nick maybe kissed… oh.. about 5000 times! I never had to ask them to either! In December, on 12-13-14, (RIGHT HOW COOL IS THAT DATE?)!, I’ll be photographing their BIG day! Amanda is just as sweet as she is pretty! even at 6:40 AM, she had that mama glow! Since its still SNOWING here, we found a spot with beautiful blossoming trees and got right to work! This has to be one of my all time favorite maternity sessions and I cannot wait for baby Stella to visit my studio here shortly! Enjoy 🙂
Cara and Zach were just as sweet as can be! From the moment we had our consultation, I knew they were TRULY in love. Ok, thats cheesy, but its true. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t cry when Zach saw Cara walking down the isle! I loved all the little touches Cara and Zach added to their big day! Blooms and Grooms out of Shawnee Kansas provided some AMAZING bouquets! The pearl detailing in the flowers was so elegant and classy and complimented Cara’s pearl earrings! Oh and lets talk about those bridesmaids! When it came to photos outside at the gold course, I’ve never met a more giggly group of girls! Love all the shots we got of them just hanging out laughing and cherishing Cara’s day! Since Zach and Cara are big MU fans they of course had to have an MU cake on their cake display.
